  • Support projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources (both internally and externally) while being a liaison among customers and employees.
  • Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications.
  • Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Provide Architecture and Management Support services to include but not limited to, e.g., site surveys, inspections, design and review assistance, requirements development, path profiles and studies, and coverage surveys.
  • Develop technical solutions and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and submit CIPs to meet new requirements or solve unique systems or equipment problems.

Job description: Overview:Job Title: Audio/Video TechnicianLocation: Los Angeles, CAJob Responsibilities:Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Audio/Video Technician to facilitate conferencing services supporting mission requirements, as part of the Conference services team at the Los Angeles AFB in support of the 61st CS.The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conference / AV Systems Scheduling
  • Review and evaluate customer requests for conference service support
  • Provide recommendations to customers by relating requirements to applicable technology, policies, priorities, systems capabilities and availability, operating practices and procedures, terms/conditions of systems, service contracts, and equipment/staffing requirements
  • Schedule events to include allocation of resources (facility, technology, staffing, etc.)
  • Coordinate support activities with Program Executive Offices, base officials and working groups, telephone companies, manufacturers, vendors, customers, and engineering personnel
  • Manage sign-out equipment including processing sign-out requests, testing equipment prior to sign-out, inspecting equipment at turn-in, and recommending tech refresh of equipment to the Government
  • Schedule the Video Teleconferences
  • Operations - provide mission critical voice, data, video, and multi-media services for events for supported locations
  • Comply with policies and procedures to facilitate conferencing services in support of mission requirements
  • Provide technical consultant and advisory services for conferencing service capabilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and publish information concerning policies, guidance and procedures related to teleconferencing capability and services
  • Implement methods, procedures, plans, and techniques concerning conferencing services
  • Survey existing and proposed services for efficiency and economy
  • Keep abreast of emerging telecommunications technologies requirements
  • Coordinate Tier 2 support with the supporting teams for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and shall coordinate other conference room audio/visual equipment and Tier 3 troubleshooting and/or repairs for VTCs with external support teams.
  • Other duties as required.
Work is performed full-time on site in Los Angeles, CA.In compliance with California's Pay Transparency requirements, the following information is being disclosed. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, Trace provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, company holidays and paid time off (PTO).Salary Minimum: $50,000Salary Maximum: $65,000Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate desired
Education:

Job description: Overview:Job Title: Systems Administrator (Server)Location: Los Angeles, CAJob Responsibilities:Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Systems Administrator to support the Server environment for the Los Angeles AFB in support of the 61st CS.The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform tasks associated with designing, installing, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, upgrading, patching, securing, and managing the NIPRNet and SIPRNet infrastructure.
  • Working with the other organizations/agencies as necessary to resolve issues outside of LAAFB control
  • Additional responsibilities include, e.g., supporting the Systems team, management of IT assets, tracking equipment lifecycle, advising on projects, performing site visits, providing technical solutions.
  • Responsible for systems administration aspects of the NIPRNet and SIPRNet as well as associated equipment to include but not be limited to, e.g., HP, VMWare, MS Server, Linux, enterprise applications, physical/virtual infrastructure, SANS, DNS, Active Directory, servers, data storage systems, data back-up and recovery systems, and back-up power systems, etc.
  • Developing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining a standardized maintenance program for all contractor-supported government equipment based on DoD and AF guidance, industry standards and/or best practices, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service manuals, AF Technical Orders (TO), and established local procedures.
  • Support projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources (both internally and externally) while being a liaison among customers and employees.
  • Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications.
  • Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Provide Architecture and Management Support services to include but not limited to, e.g., site surveys, inspections, design and review assistance, requirements development, path profiles and studies, and coverage surveys.
  • Develop technical solutions and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and submit CIPs to meet new requirements or solve unique systems or equipment problems.
  • Other duties as required.
