  • 5 years of work in the NG pipeline utility industry relating to pipeline design, construction, and operations, or equivalent Natural Gas pipeline projects.
  • Experience in leading a team of 2-5 individuals.
  • Project Managing Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Time Management and organizational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, written, and verbal communication
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6

  • Previous work with natural gas meter set assemblies, measurement and control, pipelines in or on bridges, directional drilling of pipelines, valves, cathodic protection. And pressure recorders.
  • Previous work with Storm Water Pollution prevention plans (SWPPP).

  • Responsible for sending collection letters and following proper escalation paths for collections
  • Provide weekly updates to Office Manager on Top 20 delinquent accounts
  • Work closely with designated Project Managers to ensure the timely collections of past dues
  • Process credit card payments
  • Request and distribute Certificates of insurance for new or ongoing projects
  • Prepare and submit Special Inspector forms for new or ongoing projects
  • Assist with audit requests as requested
  • Assist in other areas as needed
Accounts Payable:
  • Fundamental Accounting principles knowledge
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Job Costing, and invoice matching
  • Experience processing subcontractor requisitions
  • Generate unit billing based on AP invoices
  • The ability to understand, investigate, problem solve and expedite complex AP transactions
  • Review and verify T&M invoices, record retainage and percent complete
  • Determine sales and use tax applicability
  • Verify the receipt of contract deliverables
  • Set up new vendor accounts, identify new, disadvantaged and 1099 vendors
  • Obtain proper authorization prior to processing invoices
  • The matching, coding and data entry of invoices
  • Pulling backup for monthly credit card statement
  • Assist in other areas as needed
QualificationsRequirements and skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
