Responsibilities
- Responsible for completing various general and specialized trade skills including, but not limited to, electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, drywall, door hardware, or various ceiling and flooring systems.
- Duties may also include maintenance of structures surrounding a facility such as fencing, gates, area lighting, sidewalks, and pavements.
- Responsible for infrastructure sustainment activities.
- Repair and change locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety of all people.
- Responsible for the disassembly, movement, reassembly, and installation of facility furnishings.
- Responsible for developing supply estimates for various projects, gathering technical data, evaluating / formulating safety procedures, and material and fiscal requirements for assigned projects.
- May assist project coordinator in planning, cost estimating, designing, developing, and completing local projects.
- Technician shall be knowledgeable of all current safety policies, procedures, and required personal protection equipment (PPE) related to their job description, in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), facility, system equipment security, Environmental Compliance Assessment Protocol (ECAP) and National Electrical Code (NEC) safety standards.

- Assist with configuration assessments, fielding, testing, modernization, reset, de-fielding, demilitarization, and disposal of sensitive equipment.
- Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on complex antenna and radio frequency distribution systems.
- Perform tests on electrical, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical equipment using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, bit error rate testers (BERT), and signals survey equipment.
- Other complex / specialized test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE), wire diagrams, logic and signal flow charts, technical manuals, troubleshooting charts, performance aids, schematic and logic diagrams.
- Perform harmonic distortion test, wave ratio measurements, impedance mismatches measurements, reflectometry test, and other distortion tests to isolate faults and take corrective action.
- Repair phase matched and fiber optics cables.
- Perform pre- and post-flight inspections on Aerial-Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Systems (A-ISR) mission equipment and data links.
- Conduct Resourcing Repair Parts within an Intelligence Maintenance Support Activity (IMSA).
- Manage a calibration program.

- Associate's degree in Electronics or related field from an accredited college / university and four (4) years of relevant experience; OR

- Information assurance certifications for Tier III computer, servers, networks and global intelligence architectures integration and maintenance (six months waiver for Tier II certification).

- We have multiple opportunities for NavMPS FSR -Ship Rider positions: The NavMPS FSR -Ship Rider will deploy on board U.S. Naval vessels for extended periods of time, to include applicable work-up cycle and deployment underway periods. - While ashore, you will be trained to support the Weapons School, Wing, and all Squadrons at your home base and assist the PMA-281 Help Desk with customer support.
- As an intern, you will not deploy, but you will train to act as the primary Fleet Support Representative for all afloat Naval Mission Planning Systems, supporting ship network connectivity, training fleet users, technical support, troubleshooting, and daily system updates.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Act as primary liaison between PMA-281 and the Fleet NavMPS user as an embedded member of the Carrier Airwing Staff
- Provide NavMPS-specific Administration/Data Base Administration advanced training for all NavMPS users
- Maintain constant visibility with all NavMPS users in order to facilitate a rapid response to problem resolution, training issues, and general day-to-day operations
- Provide cross-platform training and guidance to less experienced team members and team members from co-located programs outside of the mission planning environment
- Install and configure NavMPS software on all applicable NavMPS assets

- Coordinate with enterprise network, web, database, and information assurance engineers and administrators for all installation, testing, integration, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting activities
- Monitor, administer, document and report on system security posture in accordance with DoD and local information assurance guidance and policy
- Prepare, pre-configure and test deployable equipment packages for remote connection and operation, train users and support personnel on system set-up and operation, and provide remote support to deployed personnel

- Minimum Qualifications
- Education:

Responsibilities
- Responsible for electrical infrastructure of Unit facilities ensuring power to mission critical facilities maintained to include developing repair and renovation of electrical projects.
- Provide technical assistance and support in electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs.
- Install and maintain low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring. Install feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, 235 outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations. Ensure that the material used, and workmanship meets the requirements of the applicable technical and safety standards.
- Knowledgeable of all current safety policies, procedures, and personal protection equipment (PPE) required for their assigned job description IAW OSHA safety standards. This includes, but not limited to, fall protection requirements and confined spaces. Technician shall wear appropriate safety equipment at all times while performing their assigned task.
- Attend periodic safety training classes related to the job description.
- Provide detailed reports on equipment failures, maintenance requirements, and lifecycle replacements.
- Submit work order documentation to DPW for building / equipment repairs.
- Perform a weekly inspection and a monthly load test on the Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS). Records shall be created and maintained for all EPSS inspections, operational tests, exercising, repairs, and modifications. NFPA 110 and manufacturer recommendations shall be used as a guide for routine maintenance and operational testing. A written schedule for routine maintenance and operational testing of the EPSS shall be established and updated quarterly.
- Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance inspections orally or in writing through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning / inoperable equipment.
- Use U.S. Army quality assurance procedures to ensure that the material used, and workmanship meet the requirements of the applicable DoD and military specifications, criteria, procedures, and technical / safety standards.
- Provide electrical design input to engineering installation plans and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
- Provide 24-hour, 7-day quick reaction technical support to mission critical equipment.
- Perform power quality measurements on the commercial and technical power of the facility, and plan actions for correction of any deficiencies.
- Support U.S. Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to U.S. forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
- Electrician technicians shall perform a daily surveillance walk-through at the beginning and before the end of their shift of all position description related equipment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Assist in oversight or escort for contractors on repair / renovation projects, as required.

Responsibilities
- In this role you will be expected to have a basic understanding of software engineering and be able to adapt to writing code using C#. You will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn in developing code, unit tests, and debugging software in a collaborative Agile scrum development team. The work required shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
- Work as part of a software development team that writes full software applications that provide functionality for our customers.
- Provide quick turn tailoring of current software to adapt to customer needs in a dynamic development environment.
- Write software documentation and properly comment code.
- Perform testing and performance profiling as needed.
- Participate in project meetings including Agile/Scrum grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate within an Agile scrum software development process with software engineers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
- Work with a team to conduct software engineering best practices, such as code reviews, unit testing, and static software analysis.
- Bring value or provide enhancements to previously developed tools and applications including resource efficiency improvements, large dataset handling, simple Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) functions, parallelization, and integration with newer more advanced software applications.
- Adapt to cutting edge development techniques to improve our software products.
- Qualifications:
- Education:
- Junior, Senior, or recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited university.
- 3.0 GPA or higher within major of study.
- Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with agile development project management tools.
- Experience and comfort with analyzing information, solving complex problems, and learning new tools and programming languages.
- Experience with general purpose high-level programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience developing in an industry common IDE such as Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or Eclipse.
- Knowledge and understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Must be a self-motivated performer and work well both as an individual and in small groups to accomplish unique mission objectives.

- United States citizenship required
- Eligible for U.S. SECRET security clearance
