  • Lead Construction Engineering & Inspection team(s) and/or help manage complex roadway and transportation projects that require creative solutions. Could include projects in roadway, bridge, pedestrian facilities, trails, and multi-modal transportation.
  • Lead field inspection for ODOT / LPA highway projects
  • Review the work of CE&I team members – this includes QA/QC, mentoring, training and growing staff in the performance of job duties.
  • Build project management / inspection budgets for projects.
  • Lead technical team(s) as needed for a variety of projects.
  • Mentor less experienced staff.
  • Conduct project meetings with ODOT and LPA clients.
  • Coordinates project staff as required and assigned for the project(s) to achieve successful results for the client.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team on preparing proposals.
  • Meet and develop client relationships with ODOT / LPA clients.
  • Manage scope and schedule of proposals to develop budgets.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • PE License / Project Management degree or ability to obtain within a year of employment.
  • Experience working on ODOT projects.
  • ODOT Pre-certifications in multiple work categories
  • Experience managing construction projects independently

QET will be responsible for operational quality over their respective line. Calibration and ToolingQuality engineering technicians are tasked with the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and tooling in their respective assembly lines. QET's will perform tooling and station audits and record nonconformances for tooling misplacement/mishandling. Nonconformances will be reviewed with QE during QE Gemba. This ensures the accuracy and reliability of measurements and assembly, contributing to the overall precision of the quality assurance process.NCRQET's will be the first response from Quality to issues found in production. QET's will adhere to a 5-minute escalation strategy outlined below for issue escalation. For lower severity and non-recurring issues, QET's will own NCR investigation and disposition over issues caused/found by/in their respective lines. QET's will root cause issues and drive corrective and preventative action (CAPA) and escalate to QE if any cross-functional impacting change is involved.
