  • Assist with grading plans, stormwater drainage, utilities, sewer, and street improvements under the guidance of a Project Manager.
  • Interpret and apply city planning and zoning laws to development projects.
  • Ensure designs meet U.S. infrastructure regulations at local, state, and federal levels.

Project Coordination & Communication:

  • Liaise with municipalities, agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure project approvals run smoothly.
  • Submit project revisions and respond to feedback from local authorities.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and clients to keep projects on track.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Uphold company standards, ensuring all designs meet best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.

Work systematically to meet deadlines and client expectations.Professional Growth & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with senior engineers and learn from the best.
  • Stay updated with new industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude in a fast-moving team.

What You Need to ApplyEducation & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
  • EIT certification (preferred) OR a Professional Engineer (PE) license (bonus points!).

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in land development projects.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for civil design.
  • Solid understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design for commercial/residential developments.
  • Familiarity with zoning laws, land use regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Analytical, problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail.

Soft Skills & Work Ethic:

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong communication skills can liaise with clients, government agencies, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
