- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of systems engineering plans.
- Perform requested aspects of technical analysis and systems engineering support to facilitate aspects of architecture design, interoperability, specification analysis and development, solutions implementation and systems sustainment of supported projects;
- Perform test and evaluation activities, including laboratory testing plans, new technology evaluation documents, usability engineering documents and laboratory testing of SW/MW test articles developed by the product design agent;
- Research and develop systems/subsystem specification documents, including compliance, completeness and consistency of component and interface requirements with current and evolving system requirements, information architectures, and systems.

Candidates should have interest in performing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing and evaluations of US Navy ships wireless communication systems, radars, and antennas.Responsibilities
- Performing modeling and simulation, using advanced RF software suites and propagation tools, for various RF systems including DOD radars, Naval systems, and commercial wireless 5G communication systems.
- Calculating RF link budgets and performing coupling analysis to identify operating capabilities and feasibilities of DOD and other spectrum dependent systems.
- Performing Site Surveys to measure and quantify the RF environment at DOD and commercial facilities.
- Performing shipboard testing on Navy vessels.
- Analyzing and mitigating potential EMI between different Naval vessels and systems.
- Bachelor’s (4 year) degree from an accredited College or University in a related STEM field
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering desired.
- Clearance Requirement:
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

- What You'll do:
- At V2X, we are making a difference by providing support to programs at NAVAIR. This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's Autonomous Aircraft program. We are looking for a Model Based Systems Analyst / Digital Engineer with CAMEO experience for collaboration on common aircraft architecture, autonomy architecture, and ground control segments for the Autonomous Aircraft program. The MBSE will support the engineering team to establish and manage digital representations of the system’s technical baselines, guide the analysis and synthesis of requirements, Interfaces, Behavior, Structure and Parametrics (RIBS-P) across the systems technical baselines utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / SysML and various modeling and simulation tools. This position requires the candidate to have an active US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering team to establish and manage digital representations of the weapon system’s technical baselines.
- Guide the analysis and synthesis of Requirements, Interfaces, Behavior, Structure and Parametrics (RIBS-P) across the weapon systems technical baselines utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/SysML and various modeling and simulation tools including CAMEO.
- Provide support in establishing the foundation of a digital engineering environment across various tools and classification levels in support of program priorities.
- Guide and manage the implementation of the necessary methods, process, tools, training, and network data transfers to establish an efficient, synchronized, and cohesive digital engineering environment across Government and Industry reconciled against the authoritative source of truth.
- Perform the following using MBSE tools/methods: requirements analysis/synthesis, requirements definition and management, function analysis, performance analysis, system design and trade study analysis, system integration and verification modeling and overall model of model’s validation.
- Model-Based System Engineer will support the execution the program in system engineering / digital engineering.
- Provide support in establishing the foundation of a digital engineering environment across various tools and classification levels in support of program priorities.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, from an accredited college or university
- Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in Model Based Systems Engineering of military aircraft and/or weapons systems.
- Other Requirements:
- Active US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Software:
- Model Based Systems Engineering of military aircraft and/or autonomous systems.
